Why I chose Johnson

The Johnson Admissions team was the best I encountered during my MBA recruiting process. They were attentive during each interaction, followed up as promised, and excellently connected me with resources I needed to help in my decision process. I even remember a second-year student who was studying abroad in Australia, making time (1 hour) to talk to me via Skype about different churches I could attend in the area, just because I asked the question. The Johnson team cared about every aspect of my life and wanted to ensure that I would be happy here.

One of my most memorable experiences was the Johnson Outdoor Experience (JOE) in my first few days on campus. I won the rock-scissor-paper ice breaker game for the entire Class of 2016 (280 students). It was thrilling to be lifted up on the shoulder of a second-year student as the Johnson community cheered loudly to celebrate my success; my first-year classmates, volunteering second-years, faculty and staff. I said to myself, this is my kind of a community – everyone is celebrating my victory, even those who are yet to intimately know me!
