Michael H. Train, MBA ‘91
Michael H. Train is Emerson’s president and global head of sales at the Rosemount Process facility in Chanhassen, MN, overseeing about 7000 employees worldwide. He joined Emerson after graduating from Johnson in 1991 as an international planner and in 1994 he moved to Hong Kong and became the vice president of planning and development for Emerson Asia Pacific. Later, he became president of Emerson Japan and in 1997, he returned to St. Louis as vice president of corporate planning and international. In 2002, Train returned to Asia to be President of Process Management in Asia.
Mike holds a bachelor's degree from General Motors Institute and an MBA from Cornell University. He has served Johnson as President of the Johnson Club of Singapore and a member of the Dean’s Annual Fund Leadership Committee.
He and his wife, Jean MBA ’91, live in Excelsior, MN. They have five children.
