Paul Huck, MBA '79
Paul E. Huck was appointed vice president and chief financial officer of Air Products in 2004 and assumed the position as senior vice president and chief financial officer in October 2007. In this position, he is responsible for Air Products' global finance organization. He also is a member of the company's executive committee.
Huck joined Air Products in 1979 as a financial analyst in the financial planning department. In 1980 he became manager of project control for the engineering department of the process systems group, and subsequently was named controller for several divisions within the group. Huck was appointed controller for the chemicals group in 1987; controller for environmental and energy systems in 1992; and corporate controller in 1994. In 1995 he was elected vice president by the company's board of directors, and in 2000 he was appointed to the program management office, where he was responsible for leading the company's work process efforts. Huck was reappointed vice president and corporate controller in 2002, retaining responsibility for SAP implementation company-wide, before assuming his current position.
Huck earned a BS in mathematics from the United States Naval Academy in 1972 and an MBA from Cornell University's Johnson Graduate School of Management in 1979. He served as an officer in the United States Navy from 1972 to 1979.
