Tom Stokes, BS ’04, MBA’13
Tom Stokes is a member of Johnson’s Class of 2013 and the 2012 Student Council Representative to the Advisory Council.
Prior to business school, Tom started his career at the Corporate Executive Board in Washington, DC, where he advised clients how to build formal compliance and ethics programs.
Following his work at the Corporate Executive Board, Tom was a consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton’s strategy and organization unit. In this role, Tom led the development of an IRS strategy to prevent tax refund fraud by prisoners and worked with the Department of Defense to implement a presidential security directive involving the standardization of government identification cards.
Tom was an active member of the DC education community, serving as a reading buddy with the School for Arts in Learning and as a mentor for College for Every Student, a nonprofit dedicated to helping underserved kids prepare for and gain access to college.
Tom graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in applied economics and management. In addition to his role on the Student Council, Tom is leading the Curriculum Review Committee for the Class of 2013 and a Johnson community supported agriculture (CSA) initiative.
This summer, Tom will be a Marketing Intern at S.C. Johnson in Racine, Wisconsin.
