Randy L. Allen
Associate Dean for International and Corporate Relations, Senior Lecturer of Strategy
Allen is a senior lecturer of management, and consultant in residence. She is also an emeritus member of Johnson's
Advisory Council. As associate dean, she is responsible for the
Career Management Center,
Corporate Programs,
Admissions Department,
Innovation Interface, and the school's global strategy and initiatives. She serves on the board of BR Consulting and is a senior lecturer on the faculty.
Prior to coming to Johnson, Allen spent more than 22 years with Deloitte Consulting, focusing on consumer business and serving clients in the retail, distribution, consumer goods, and apparel manufacturing industries. Her consulting ranged from strategy, to technology, to operations. She previously worked for Phillips-Van Heusen Corp., Boeing Computer Services, and IBM. She holds a BA in physics from Cornell University.

Sunny Donenfeld
Associate Dean for Administration
Donenfeld joined Johnson’s administrative team in 2008 as the school’s chief financial and operating officer. He is the financial driver for the school, keeping us on track with ever-changing and complicated budget and university issues. As Associate Dean of Administration, he oversees the Finance Office, Human Resources, Technology Services, Business Services, and Facilities.
Donenfeld holds a Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Binghamton, a Master of Business Administration with distinction from Johnson, and a Master of Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations. Prior to his appointment at Johnson, he held administrative and information technology management roles at Cornell University and Stanford University.
William W. Huling, Jr.
Associate Dean for Alumni Affairs and Development
Huling is responsible for Johnson’s
Alumni Affairs and Development program. He has more than 20 years of development experience at Johnson, including seven years as a Major Gifts Officer. Prior to that, he directed the corporate development and relationship efforts at Johnson. During his 10 year tenure as Senior Director of Corporate Relations, he focused on increasing corporate interaction and attracting investments to Johnson. He has also managed many student educational treks from Week on Wall Street to Silicon Valley and the Pacific Northwest engaging new companies to participate in the on-campus recruiting program.
Huling has both BS and MBA degrees from Cornell and has 23 years experience in university AA&D. A retired military officer, he is the advisor to Johnson’s
Veteran’s Club, serves on Johnson’s Admissions Interview Committee, and was the appointed Cornell Coordinator of the Korean/Vietnam War Memorial.
Sachin Gupta
Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Henrietta Johnson Louis Professor of Management, Professor of Marketing
Appointed Associate Dean for Academic Affairs in 2010, Gupta oversees tenured and tenure-track faculty including coordinating tenure and tenure-track reviews, and hiring and working with all tenured and tenure-track faculty. In addition, he is responsible for overseeing the efforts of Johnson’s
Business Simulation Lab, the
Ph.D. Program, the
Parker Center for Investment Research, Johnson’s academic journal the
Administrative Science Quarterly, Research Computing, and the
Management Library.
Gupta serves on several editorial boards including Marketing Science and the Journal of Marketing Research. He teaches Johnson’s core Marketing Management course, as well as others, and has received numerous teaching awards. Prior to coming to Johnson, he taught at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Douglas M. Stayman
Associate Dean for MBA programs, Associate Professor of Marketing
As Associate Dean for MBA Programs, Stayman is responsible for the curriculum across our four
MBA programs. In this role, he oversees the non-tenure-track faculty as well as the teaching responsibilities of all faculty. He also oversees the Office of Student Services, the
Center for Sustainable Global Enterprise, the
Entrepreneurship and Innovation Institute, our Leadership programs including the
Park Leadership Fellows Program, and the
Office of Diversity and Inclusion.
Stayman's teaching and research interests are in the areas of advertising and consumer decision making. His research has focused on the study of emotional responses to advertising and the role of affect in decision making. His work has involved methodological and measurement issues in studying emotions. He is also interested in theoretical accounts of the effects of emotions on people's preferences. Prior to coming to Johnson in 1990, he taught at the University of Texas at Austin.

Beta Mannix
Associate Dean for Executive Education, Ann Whitney Olin Professor of Management
Mannix is the Ann Whitney Olin Professor of Management. She is responsible for the design, strategy and academic excellence of Johnson’s
Executive MBA programs (both
CEMBA and
CQEMBA), as well as the strategy and oversight of Johnson’s non-degree Executive Education. Mannix has served as the Academic Director for Executive MBA, and has taught extensively in both CEMBA and CQEMBA programs. She has been a Johnson faculty member since 1999, and she taught previously at the business schools at the University of Chicago and Columbia University. During 2005-08, Beta was the director of the Institute for the Social Sciences at Cornell, established to promote interdisciplinary research and to increase the university's prominence in the social sciences. In 2008-09 she served as Cornell’s Vice Provost for Equity and Inclusion. Mannix’ research and consulting includes work on effective performance in managerial teams, leading with power, strategic negotiation, and organizational change and renewal. She is the recipient of Johnson’s Faculty Research Award in 2008 and the inaugural Globe Award for Excellence in Teaching in Johnson’s EMBA Program in 2001.

Carolyn P. O’Keefe
Chief Marketing Officer
Carolyn O’Keefe is the Charles and Janet Jarvie Executive Director of Marketing at Johnson. As Chief Marketing Officer, Carolyn is responsible for all marketing and communication activity. As a member of the Management Committee, she works closely with the dean and the team to develop and communicate the future vision for Johnson here in Ithaca, in CornellNYC Tech, and globally.
Carolyn comes to Johnson with over 20 years of strategic brand and marketing experience from companies such as Pepsi, Disney, Taco Bell, Baskin-Robbins and IHOP. She has successfully created, revitalized, and led brands to leadership positions in their respective categories. As a seasoned professional in the business world of franchising and licensing, Carolyn is particularly skilled in working with numerous constituents to create and execute winning strategies. She knows firsthand the power of harnessing the collective strengths of others to achieve extraordinary results, making her a strong fit with our culture and values.
