Since this is my first post, I should introduce myself...

Seattle

I was born in Taipei, Taiwan. My family moved to the U.S. when I was 5 years old and we settled in a suburb of Buffalo, NY. I moved to Seattle to attend college at the University of Washington and graduated in Computer Engineering.  Since then, I have been working in software development for BlackRock, most recently as a product development manager. On the home front, I am supported by my wife Laurie. We have two silly little girls that bring us great joy.

Like many of my peers in the CQEMBA class of 2015, I face the challenge of balancing my studies with work and family. Being part of an Executive MBA program requires that I manage my busy life. As such, it would be hard for me to blog about the program without including the rest of my life that is juggled with it. The purpose of this blog is to provide my perspective of things as I embark this journey.  It will come with a more holistic view. So it will focus less on explaining what my current assignment is, and more on describing what it is like to do homework on a plane. Hmm...that actually sounds like a good blog post...

Best of luck in the program, especially with the challenging task of balancing studies, work and family.
