It's been quite a while since I updated but that now means I have a lot to share!

I am writing to you from the Third Ward in Milwaukee, Wisconsin while Summerfest, the largest outdoor music festival in the world is happening. I am in the exact middle of my 12-week internship with S.C. Johnson in Racine, WI. I've gotten a lot of, "Why would you ever move from NYC to Wisconsin???" Well, it was the opportunity! I have three intense projects (strategic, analytical, creative) on the Ziploc brand. It is a change I will admit... but if you go around comparing everything back to NYC, you'll never be happy! I think the biggest thing I miss is not being able to just take the subway somewhere (or a cab).

Last I wrote I was in the last two months of my first year. With the marketing immersion, we took a trek to NYC/NJ/CT and visited many different companies related to marketing, like creative and media agencies, healthcare marketing etc which was quite interesting and a bonding experience with my immersion classmates. I also got to be home for two nights and I snuck off for a haircut at Bumble & Bumble! :)

Immediately after, was Destination Johnson, which is Johnson's admitted students weekend. My roommates and some close friends chaired the weekend and it was such a success - including the main parties the committee put on. It's always fun to open our homes to prospective students and learn more about their stories.

My last entry was regarding fellowships for the Consortium for Graduate Study in Management. Well, since I am the liaison for the class of 2014, I was able to spend some days in early June in Minneapolis during the Orientation Program getting to know the new class and they're pretty awesome!! I'm so excited to be spending the next year with them!! Also after all the hard work we put into this year, Johnson won the Team Trophy!! This team trophy is the result of putting on events and workshops on campus promoting the Consortium as well as for fostering the community. It was an exciting time, and we now get to keep the trophy on campus for the year!

Well, I always look forward to July because we get a day off and my birthday is approaching! My parents are coming in from NYC to visit Milwaukee, so I plan to show them a really good time! I'll write more before starting school up again. I hope to make a trip to Thailand right after my internship is over!

Re: Greetings from Cheeseland!

Hahaha yes, I learned that. Especially when I was served a beer along with my bloody Mary!
