Hello! My name is Tammy Wu. It is an honour for me to represent the CQEMBA Class of 2014 as a Canadian-based blogger.
My purpose in blogging is to:
give prospective students an eye into the highlights and challenges of participating in this program; provide my perspective to those who are “outside the business world” and contemplating an MBA; reflect on shared experiences with the 2014 class.
To provide some context for my thoughts and comments, here’s a brief introduction about myself:
Most of my professional experience comes from the world of education. I chose to be a teacher, as I felt it was the best way to intersect my love of learning and my desire to make a difference in individual lives. I took a hiatus from teaching in order to devote my energy to my two sons while they were in their most formative years; at the same time, I managed my husband’s medical corporation. Now that my children are growing more independent, I am ready to embrace new challenges. My hope in taking the CQEMBA program is to apply the innovation and skill-set of business in making a positive impact on society.
I look forward to sharing this journey with you. Questions & feedback are most welcome.

And you're off!
Tammy, it is wonderful to have as a Johnson blogger to share insights on the program experience. As a boardroom team colleague I look forward to reading your blogs. So much has happened in the brief 3 months we have known each other, I am sure you have lots to share. Congrats on a great start!
