Cheers, applause and congratulations were seen and heard last week across videoconferencing last Saturday.  The CQEMBA Class of 2014 has officially completed all regular boardroom class sessions!

Tomorrow, the entire cohort heads to our final residency session.  This will be the first extended period where the whole class is in one location.  We will still hold classes in two sections, to enhance discussion and engagement, but at meals and after-hours, we will finally be able to interact with all our colleagues.  I look forward to reconnecting with people I haven’t had a chance to see since way back in July 2012, which truly seems a lifetime ago!

Another highlight will be the integration of students from the CEIBS institution in China.  In fact, we have been organized into new teams for our Global Economy course, composed of different CQ classmates as well as CEIBS colleagues.  This should make for lively discussion about internationalization.   The new experiences and challenges continue right to the very end with this program!
