Andrew Karolyi to deliver keynote at National Taiwan University finance conference, Dec. 9
Talk on the behavior of "sovereign acquirers" of international corporations to hold newsworthy revelations
Andrew Karolyi, professor of Finance and Global Business at Johnson will deliver a keynote speech at the NTU 2010 International Conference on Finance in Taipei, Taiwan on Dec. 9.
His timely talk, entitled “Sovereign Acquirers: A New Force in Global Capital Markets,” will kick off the annual conference that began in 1995 and is themed "Risk in Globalized Financial Markets" this year.
Karolyi, a go-to press source on international economics, recently told CNN Money that concerns about continued failures across European economies are justified. Said Karolyi, the fundamentals, that place stronger European economies in jeopardy as they get further weighed down with bailout burden, do exist.
