Mike Annunziata, MBA ’17, explains how Cornell University offers the ideal environment for starting a business:

“How does one take advantage of the unique interdisciplinary offerings available at Cornell to start companies? Once you have what you think is a rock solid idea, how do you take it to the next level? With that goal in mind, I cover five key aspects of building your startup here: Getting Started, Coursework, Getting Involved with Entrepreneurship, Taking Your Idea to Market, and Funding Your Idea.”

In addition, Annunziata outlines Johnson’s entrepreneurship-based curriculum:

  • Entrepreneurship and Business Ownership;
  • Physical Product Entrepreneurship;
  • Entrepreneurship for Scientists and Engineers;
  • Women, Leadership, and Entrepreneurship; and
  • Entrepreneurship in Creative Industries.

Pairing this curriculum with the larger Cornell University entrepreneurial network is a win-win.
