Robert has experience in the both the private and non-profit sectors.  Robert spent time in Washington, D.C. as a paralegal with Venable LLP&rsquos intellectual property litigation practice.  An interest in environmental stewardship led Robert to volunteer for AmeriCorps with a grassroots non-profit organization in South Lake Tahoe, CA.  For the subsequent year, he traveled to rural towns in the Sierra Nevada mountains leading public presentations about the environmental, social, and economic impacts of climate change.  Most recently, Robert was a Research Analyst for Environmental Defense Fund EDF in Boulder, CO.  At EDF he worked extensively on national air quality and energy policy and further developed his knowledge of the electric power sector.
