Prior to pursuing his MBA, Micah spent six years in the hybrid and electric vehicle division at General Motors. He held various positions in propulsion system design for the Chevrolet Volt, Chevy Spark, and other hybrids in Asian, European, Middle East and North American markets. Most recently he focused on solving rare earth material shortages in hybrid technology. For the past four years, he also spent his spare time working with a community development organization in downtown Detroit focused on economic development and literacy education.
Through the EFII fellowship Micah is interested in learning how financial markets drive renewable energy technology development and understanding what role impact investing can have in the economic development of under-resourced communities.
Micah holds a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
