Julie Casabianca comes to Cornell from Washington, DC, where she worked for Engility Corporation formerly International Resources Group as project coordinator for several USAID-funded projects in clean energy and energy regulation in Afghanistan, Ukraine, the Philippines, Bangladesh, and India. She also served as co-chair of the company's Environmental Management System Committee. Julie previously worked for the Society for International Development and for a member of the U.S. House of Representatives. She currently serves as an officer of the Organization of Cornell Planners. Julie is focusing her studies on international planning and sustainable energy and environmental planning, especially as it relates to climate change adaptation and mitigation.
