Hilary Dowden, LEED AP, has almost 6 years of progressive experience in the private and non-profit sectors. Most recently, she provided LEED certification and business administration services at GreenShape LLC, a small sustainability consulting firm in Washington, D.C. In this capacity she provided research and management support to building design and construction professionals in order to facilitate LEED certification of new construction projects. Hilary previously managed fundraising and development efforts at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, a research and services organization dedicated to helping people living with MS. Her interests lie in improving the quality of life in communities through the management of environmentally and socially beneficial planning projects, specifically in the areas of sustainability planning, public development and housing.
