Jennifer was born and raised in China. She graduated from Xi'an Jiaotong University in 2002 with dual bachelor degree in Biological Engineering and English. In 2007, Jennifer earned her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Tsinghua University and joined the Research Assignment Program at Dow Chemical. She was promoted to technical development manager of Emulsion Polymer Division in 2008 and to Subject Matter Expert in 2010, leading the technical and application development work for Asia Pacific adhesive and specialty paper business. She also led important global R&D projects to implement innovative products and technologies for global strategic customers, as well as formulated marketing entry strategy by analyzing value chains, market needs, and technology landscape in Asia Pacific. At Cornell, Jennifer is currently pursuing a career in general management and marketing in Healthcare and Chemical Industry. She is passionate about contributing her deep industrial experience and strong scientific background, combined with business management skills cultivated in Johnson to business development of the emerging markets. During her free time, Jennifer enjoys playing badminton and reading philosophy. In addition, Jennifer is a museum buff and a good photographer.
