Rick served over six years in the United States Army as an Infantry and Intelligence officer in Korea, Iraq, and Afghanistan in various leadership positions. His roles ranged from managing an economic development and infrastructure reconstruction effort in Iraq to leading an analytics team focused on defeating roadside bombs in Afghanistan. While overseas, Rick experienced first hand the impact that providing opportunity to people in emerging market countries can have.
At the Johnson School, Rick is the President of the Veteran's Club, a BR Consultant, and is active in Community Impact, the Consulting Club, and the Energy Club. After completing his business studies, Rick will pursue a career in strategy consulting with a focus on helping clients enter into and operate in high growth emerging markets, particularly in Southeast Asia.
