After graduating from China Agricultural University with a Bachelor degree in Nutrition, I began my career at Chinese Center for Disease Control China CDC, where I focused on clinical research for nutrition supplements to address malnutrition. During one year and a half, I primarily participated in a 6 Million USD project sponsored by Gate Foundation and conducted two field trials each including more than 1,000 people. I also worked with top nutritionists in China to analyze nutrition-related bills in developed countries and the analysis paper was published by the State Council of China in 2005.
In 2006, I leveraged my successful track record in clinical research to earn a position in Life Times of Global Times, the largest healthcare newspaper in China, where I started as a journalist. In the past 6 years, I have covered more than 400 national/international healthcare news pertaining to health policy, hospital management, pharmaceutics and medical devices, and healthy living. I also managed to develop and maintain a network of over 1,000 healthcare professionals. Despite the editorial work, I helped the Sales Department to recruit 30 new clients and generate more than 8 Million RMB revenue annually. In the end of 2010, I was promoted Chief Editor and Vice Director of the Editorial Department, and managed 24 editors and journalists.
