Lynnette Dueñas was born in Houston, TX, but has spent the majority of her life in Queens, New York and comes from a Colombian family. She loves traveling and experiencing new cultures, which led her to spend her winter break in India with a Johnson trek. She received a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School and spent her time since graduation in financial operations at Bear Stearns, Citi and most recently Citco Fund Services, the world's preeminent hedge fund administrator. Lynnette came to Johnson because she wanted to use her previous analytical experience in a more strategic career and transition into brand management. She hopes to work in Colombia and other areas of Latin America and is very excited and honored to be a part of the inaugural class of Emerging Markets Fellows.
