Kimberley Mark's passion for international business was inspired early on by her parents, who came to America from China and the UK. Kimberley studied international politics, development and business at the University of South Florida, where she spent several months in Australia studying projects related to indigenous integration in society. She was awarded the Dr. Mark T. Orr Endowed Award for her accomplishment and dedication to international studies, and participated in a Department of Defense student simulation on international security. Prior to Johnson, Kimberley spent several years developing client relationships and strategic initiatives for Fortune 500 companies with operations in both the US and India. She is active in community volunteerism and development, most recently through the founding of a local company organization that coordinated a charity event for Title I schools. Apart from her work with the Emerging Markets Institute, Kimberley is also the Consulting Affinity Representative for the Sustainable Global Enterprise Club, a teaching assistant for Core Accounting, and was a semi-finalist in the Accenture Innovation case competition. She is a classically trained flutist and oboist, and has competed internationally in Scottish Highland Dancing. Kimberley is passionate about the intersection of the emerging markets, development and business, and is pursuing a career in corporate strategy or consulting.
