Anshuman Kumar is a second year MBA student in the S. C. Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University, specializing in Finance and Strategy. Within the Emerging Markets Institute, his interests include emerging capital flows and transactions, market entry strategy and competition among BRIC nations for foreign capital inflows. Over the summer, Anshuman interned with Samsung Telecommunications America STA in their Business Planning and Strategy division. He was involved in formulating STA&rsquos U.S. mobile retail strategy. Prior to Johnson, Anshuman spent over four years with Evalueserve, a research firm, in their Investment Research practice. He started as an analyst responsible for assessing technology companies for the creation of the annual Dow Jones Sustainability Index. From there, he transitioned into M&A research where he leading a research team supporting a European investment bank on transactions. After that, he spent about two years working as an associate supporting a U.S. based analyst expand coverage on small and mid-cap U.S. stocks in diverse sectors. Anshuman holds a Bachelor&rsquos degree in Computer Science Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology, India.
