Faye Zou was born and raised in Shanghai, China. She moved to Massachusetts when she was 18. After graduating from University of Massachusetts Lowell with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering, Faye started her career as a project engineer with AECOM in Boston. AECOM is a fortune 500 company with $8.2 billions in revenue, providing leading engineering and project management consulting services to public and private sectors around the globe. During her 5 years at the firm, Faye reported directly to senior management, working closely with clients and colleagues across all business functions. She worked extensively on building the Middle East and South America practices while took responsibilities on all aspects of the transportation project planning and design consulting process.  While working in the Boston office, Faye also expanded transportation engineering services outside of Massachusetts by establishing relationships with Chief Engineers of the states of Rhode Island, Maine and Vermont. In 2010, She received the &ldquoMake a Difference&rdquo award for her outstanding performance and contribution to the company. While developing her career at AECOM, Faye has also completed her Masters of Science degree at Northeastern University in Transportation Engineering and was certified as a Professional Engineer. Faye has extensive experience in project development and client-facing roles and is adept at analyzing data and recommends the best solutions to her clients. Faye has bilingual proficiencies in English and Mandarin Chinese. She enjoys landscape painting and is a fan of 19th Century large-scale impressionist paintings.
I will be pursuing a career in management consulting immediately after Johnson with a long-term focus on merge and acquisition in Emerging Markets.
