Greg is a 2015 MBA/MPS in Real Estate candidate. He was born and raised in Miami, a city that continues to influence his passion for international business. Greg earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree with Distinction from Emory University. While at Emory, Greg interned with Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Intuit, and The Boston Consulting Group. At graduation, he received The Todd Whitman Outstanding BBA Achievement Award.
After graduation, Greg joined PKF Consulting in its Atlanta office, where he conducted feasibility and consulting projects for hotels and mixed-use developments throughout the southeastern United States and Central America. After PKF, Greg worked for Marriott International where he performed market analysis and financial projections for lodging development and capital investment opportunities throughout the United States. He also managed a multi-year asset management project for Marriott's Asia/Pacific corporate leadership.
Greg has authored and co-authored articles for Lodging Magazine and HSMAI Marketing Review and was quoted in Hotel Management and Nation’s Restaurant News. Greg is also the founder and former president of the DFW Emerging Leaders in Hospitality, a professional organization with over 150 members.
Greg has been highly involved in various activities at Cornell. In his first year at Cornell, Greg co-wrote a graduate-level academic case for the Cornell Real Estate Review – Case Study Series. He is the Co-Founder and past co-president of the Johnson Hospitality Industry Club. In Fall 2014, Greg attended Handelshøjskolen i København (Copenhagen Business School) on his MBA semester exchange, where he focused on Scandinavian and emerging market business courses.
Greg interned for The Kor Group in his first summer internship and a Seattle-area family office/private investment firm in his second internship.
Greg is an avid traveler, international music buff, and loves racquet sports. He has intermediate French proficiency.
Following graduation from the Johnson Graduate School of Management and the Baker Program in Real Estate, Greg plans a career in hospitality and mixed-use real estate investments with specific interests in brand creation/strategy and a focus on emerging and frontier markets.
