Saniya Gandhi is currently a first-year MBA candidate. Prior to attending Cornell, she worked with her family&rsquos real estate development business in Bangkok, Thailand. She managed several office and hotel developments including the company&rsquos first major project: building Thailand&rsquos second Holiday Inn Express.
Prior to her role in the family business, she worked with CB Richard Ellis as a development consulting analyst, doing feasibility and due diligence work.
At Cornell, Saniya is the co-founder of Johnson Hospitality Industry Club and is the Innovation Developer for Connect Entrepreneurial Hotelies in the Pillsbury Institute for Hospitality Entrepreneurship. She is also a member of the Associate Real Estate Club, Women&rsquos Management Council, and the South Asian Business Club. During her first semester at Johnson, Saniya was also part of the winning team for the S.C. Johnson Marketing Case Competition.
Saniya holds a B.A. with honors in Economics and South Asian Studies from the University of Chicago.
