Johnson at Cornell University is joining with the Cornell Entrepreneurship Network (CEN) to invite candidates for the new one-year MBA program in New York City to a special West Coast event.
“Innovation & Entrepreneurship in Media,” sponsored by CEN in partnership with Cornell in Hollywood is bringing entertainment industry leaders together for a TED-style presentation and professional networking event on Tuesday, September 17, in Los Angeles.
Johnson at Cornell University will provide complimentary tickets to prospective students for the One-year Program in New York City, a new MBA learning experience for the digital economy, to build their career networks and hear insights from fellow entrepreneurs and these speakers:
· David Greenman ’00, Actor/Screenwriter (moderator)
· Christopher Fenton ’93, President of DMG Entertainment Motion Picture Group
· David Wong ’92, General Manager of DMG North America (and former partner of EMC Consulting’s Media & Entertainment Vertical)
Tuesday’s event takes place at the Hotel Palomar Los Angeles, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Prospective students can reserve an event pass courtesy of the Cornell MBA by registering online. Space is limited.
The evening kicks off with a reception and networking, followed by the presentation and Q&A. Carolyn O’Keefe, Johnson’s chief marketing officer, will give an update on the Cornell NYC Tech MBA, and the event will close with Open Mic for attendees to share their 30-second elevator pitch with others, and continued networking time.
