Entrepreneurship & Innovation Concentration

Commencing Spring 2013, the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Institute (“EII”), will offer an Entrepreneurship and Innovation Concentration (“EI Concentration”).

The EI Concentration is designed to separate, and provide a clearer focus on, the entrepreneurship, venture capital, and innovation parts of the former Entrepreneurship and Private Equity (“EPE”) Immersion, which was phased out in 2012.  We implemented this change in response to industry trends and input from our constituents. We now have two concentrations, our EI Concentration and a separate concentration focused on private equity.

The EI Concentration’s purposes are to enhance students’ knowledge and skills related to entrepreneurship and innovation through course work and, simultaneously, to help create a community of students dedicated to promoting these areas at Johnson and Cornell University. Both purposes are central to EII’s mission.

Participating in the EI Concentration only requires successful completion of:

  1. Entrepreneurship and Business Ownership (NBA 5640)
