Born in Japan, raised in New York Shigeki is a techie, geek, foodie, travel junkie, entrepreneur. He graduated Tufts University majoring in Economics and Entrepreneurship and at Johnson is focusing on launching his own startup with a fellow classmate. His professional experience is diverse and he has worked in many countries including Japan and India. He has launched the start-up WineBuzz right after undergrad, worked as an analyst for the asset management firm Alliance Bernstein, managed a leading Japanese restaurant in New York, and led projects at Sesame Street such as the STEM Video Game Challenge which was co-launched with the White House. On his downtime he loves to cook, play the piano & trumpet, and also manage his website. He's also an avid golfer, skier, and paintballer!
