Prior to Johnson, Carlos worked for four years as a software engineer at Cisco in San Jose, CA, focusing on Linux-based products and virtualization.  While in Silicon Valley, he served in leadership positions in early career professional associations and helped organize a business exploration trip to companies such as Asus, Acer, and HTC, during which he helped promote a tech startup's products.  At Johnson, Carlos is an AMBA Student Council Representative and is pursuing experiences in consulting, technology product management, and entrepreneurship.  He received BS and MS degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Virginia and Purdue University and served in the US Army National Guard.
