Where business and industry meet education

Sophia Monkman

E. Sophia Monkman
Director for Corporate Relations

Johnson ’s Office of Corporate Relations aids companies interested in pursuing involvement with the school. Our team works with company executives, and with senior administration and faculty at Johnson and across Cornell, to structure alliances of mutual benefit. The result is an industry/university relationship that addresses varied needs and interests, from specific projects and initiatives, to executive education and recruitment.

The benefits of strategic partnerships.

As a Corporate Partner, you’re invited to:

  • provide executives as guest lecturers
  • participate in seminars and symposia
  • collaborate in research
  • participate in executive education
  • host student treks

In addition, you’re the first to schedule recruiting activities and presentations, and you have great opportunities to nurture relationships with the exceptional students — and employment candidates — in our programs.

Connect with students

Your opportunities include sponsoring and participating in student events, being involved with our immersion learning or leadership skills program, and more. Of course, there are also a variety of traditional giving opportunities.

Make your challenge our project

Do you have a business challenge but limited resources to tackle it? Consider submitting it as a Johnson Global Business Solutions project. We partner with a wide range of organizations, and have consulted on more than 500 projects since 1997.
