Re: A Johnson tradition...

Thanks for the information about 'coffee chat'. In fact, Johnson Chinese MBA students have already advertised these events in China for 1 month. Especially, in Beijing, the session will be hold in a hotel which belongs to Tsinghua Univerisity, my graduated university.

Re: A Johnson tradition...

Hi, Christine:

About Beijing event, there were approximate 30-40 people attented to this 'Coffee Chat' for more than 2 hours. Firstly, the video of Johnson Dean's dancing in formal suit really impressed us in terms of Renaissance atmosphere in Johnson.

Then Jessica Wang and Wendy Liu (MBA'12), and Jim Liu (AMBA'08) introduced their personal experience and observation in Safe Hall. We knew famous professors and tough requirements in some courses which guarantee future career switching. Besides, Cornell has many helpful resources for study such as hotel management.

In Q&A course, we felt the warm-hearted Johnson students. In order to answer our questions efficiently, they tried to know questioner's background and analyze real concern. As a potential AMBA applicant, I was satisfied with detailed and comprehensive answers from organizers.

Since the Essay question of this year has been released , we also discussed how to wirte them, especially for the new question 'what legacy would you hope to leave as Johnson student'.

Re: A Johnson tradition...

Feng - Thanks for commenting here. We worked with the admissions and the alumni office to host these events across China this summer. Details: johnson.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_2h4kGsiA7gU8jv6

Currently we have more than 120 students signed up for the Shangahi event this coming weekend, and over 30 for Shenzhen. We are looking forward to seeing everyone.
