I am happy to announce that we have completed our round 1 applications for the two-year and one-year MBA programs!  It was a very competitive round and I thank each of our candidates for all your hard work and dedication.  We are quickly getting to our round 2 applicants and will continue to read and send interview invitations throughout January.  For those of you applying through Consortium round 1, your scheduled decision notification for January 12 is on target.  We look forward to reviewing Consortium round 2 and our round 2 applications.

For our newly admitted students, congratulations!  How did it feel to receive our telephone call?  It is the most rewarding part of our job to share this good news with you.  By now, you have received your admitted "pad folio" which is new this year.  Let me know your thoughts!

Please see our website at "Attend an Admissions Event" to note when our current students are hosting a reception or coffee chat to meet you!  This year, we are hosting in over 15 cities so, get out and meet up with Johnson students.

No matter where you are in the world, what you celebrate or do not, I hope you take this time before we enter a new year, to reflect on what is important in your life.  As I write this, I am thankful for celebrating one of my favorite holidays with my son and husband.  This week, many of us at Cornell are lucky to have a few days away from the office to spend with family and take some time for ourselves that we so often forget to do in our daily routine.

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

Re: Congratulations Round 1!

A super busy round ended, and another super busy round started.
Welcome back from the winter break! It's good to reflect before the new year and continue the journey in 2012.
