Sage Hall is ready to empty which means graduation is around the corner and Ithaca is warming up!  As we start this next season, it also means tough decisions about finalizing the class of 2014.  To our admitted students, your second tuition deposit is due on June 1st Noon EST.  Of course, you can pay your last deposit at any time and if you have questions, please contact Andrea Sherwood at als22@cornell.edu

For those on our waitlist, we are still reviewing updates and considering offers.  We will be in contact with those we are seriously considering in the coming weeks.  As always, continue to update our office with any of your updates.  You can contact your application manager directly.

For those of you still weighing options, I thought I would provide you encouraging numbers from our Assistant Dean of the Career Management Center.  These are just a few of the successess on the job front so far this year:

Johnson currently ranks second among our peer schools in percentage of 2nd year students  with full-time offers at 75.6%, compared to an average of 70.8% (first place is within reach at 76.1%!).

Johnson currently ranks third among our peer schools in percentage of 1st year students with internship offers at 73.1%, compared to an average of 65.9% (first place at 75.1%).

We will be hosting a reception for our admitted students in the New York area on Thursday, May 24th 6-8pm at the Stone Street Tavern (52 Stone Street, New York, NY 10004).  We hope you will be able to join us!

Re: June 1st, the waitlist, why the CMC rocks, and a NYC reception...

Impressive career numbers. I am passionate about the alumni strength of Cornell Johnson in my interested industry. Just as Christine said in the Accepted.com that "a location isn’t necessarily where it’s physically located, but where the alumni are, how they’re represented".

Hope to hear good news in terms of my waitlist status soon.
