Imagine - you and two of your classmates at Johnson graduate and one works for a major airline, another in a finance role and you are working in London for a consulting firm. Your friend at the airline asks the one in the finance role to fly to London and see you - just for the weekend. A few years later, the three of you end up living in Chicago. So, reading it from me may not pull out the humor and incredible dynamic when our alums share this light story, but there's a point here. A network is giving and taking; it's personal, professional and should be a natural part of what you do. Networking is not hard when you are at Johnson - even when you graduate.
The Johnson community is a special part of your MBA experience and the relationships you develop here will last a lifetime and strengthen as you move through your career and life. We stay connected because we want to.
I am on the Cornell bus after a great event in NYC where a recent alum shared incredible stories of his time at Johnson. I continue to be impressed with our alumni network and how gracious they with their time.
