We advise that you arrive in Ithaca early to get settled. Once classes begin you won't have time to get your phone turned on, etc. Your program starts the week of May 6, 2013, so we encourage you to look for a lease start date that will allow you to move in before the week of May 6.

International students who have not studied in the U.S. previously are encouraged to participate. Invitations will be issued in the spring.

First-year MBA Fall Break

Note that this differs from the second-year MBA and Cornell University fall break, and be aware that some career functions, most often finance, plan annual job search and networking trips over the first-year fall break.

Second-half Fall Semester Core Courses In Session

Tuesday, November 26 – Sunday, December 1, 2013

First-year MBA Thanksgiving Break

Monday, December 9 – Friday, December 13, 2013

Second-half Fall Semester Core Courses Final Exam Period

While first-year core course exams are currently scheduled to end by Friday, December 13, 2013, there are frequently job search and networking trips, and some international class trips scheduled after finals end and before the holidays. Our advice is to avoid booking travel for December until the fall so you may be better informed about possible programs.
