Mark Burns, CFA, is vice president of Loomis, Sayles & Company and portfolio manager of the Loomis Sayles Small Cap Growth product. Mark joined Loomis Sayles in 1999 as a small cap growth analyst working on a broad range of sectors including technology, consumer discretionary and healthcare.
He began his investment career as an investment analyst for New England Pension Consultants. There, he performed research on small cap strategies, developed risk/return assumptions for all asset classes and performed asset allocation studies. Mark was the chief architect of the Loomis' diversified approach to small cap growth management.
Mark is a graduate of Colby College and earned his MBA from the Johnson School of Management at Cornell University.
