Andreas Nydal
Two-year MBA '14

Andreas Nydal was born in Florida, but raised in Bergen, Norway.  He moved to the Washington D.C. area in high school where he later received a full athletic scholarship to play Division 1 soccer at the College of William and Mary.  He graduated from College with a B.B.A in Business Marketing, and a minor in Psychology.  Andreas started his career working for CGI Federal as a Systems Analyst at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives ATF in Washington D.C where he supported a Financial Management software.  At the ATF, Andreas received a Department of Justice Top Secret clearance.  Three years after graduation, this clearance allowed him to transition to the Drug Enforcement Administration DEA where he took on a Project Manager role for Delta Solutions.   Andreas has been a lifelong soccer player, and has used his experience to coach several youth teams as well as serve as a college admissions mentor for high school aged boys.  Andreas came to Johnson at Cornell University as a Roy H. Park Leadership Fellow, and Consortium for Graduate Study Management member in the fall of 2012.  He is part of the Old Ezra Finance club, and of course, a member of the Johnson soccer team.  Andreas is pursuing a career in Private Wealth Management.
