Second Year Concentrations

Concentrations are optional, but provide depth and/or breadth to your experience, as well as marketability for you as you position yourself for employment. The five initial breadth concentrations are:

You could take up to two concentrations (maybe one breadth and one depth for 15 of your 30 credits in your second year) to better position and train yourself in specific areas - or take one concentration or none at all depending on your personal background and goals. Think about how to best use your second year. We believe you should focus in a few specific areas, but also take a broad set of courses during your second year to position yourself for both immediate as well as long-term success. This means you will need to think about what's right for you – which might not be a concentration at all.
