Our Curriculum
Management Practicum
In the fall semester, you'll take a Management Practicum. This combines a package of three elective courses with work on real business projects, guided by our consultant in residence. Other faculty and a team advisor provide guidance on issues as needed. You can undertake projects with companies in biotech, technology, finance, pharmaceutical, or other industries of particular interest to you. The practicum culminates in a two-week internship experience in which students conduct interviews, analysis, and group work sessions.
Career Preparation is built into our management practicum. As part of your foundation project experience, you'll engage in arguing your case before experts, reviewing your resume with alumni, and practicing interviews with peers and alumni.
As many recruiters and students have noted, the degree to which Johnson School students help one another is astonishing. It is not unusual for students to work together to prepare for interviews with the same recruiter. All are strengthened through such preparation, and since 100% of our AMBAs who seek jobs land offers, no one loses.
