Immersion Learning

Capital Markets and Asset Management

The Capital Markets and Asset Management (CMAM) immersion is designed for students interested in pursuing a career in asset management, research, sales or trading. This immersion should directly benefit anyone interested in a career on the Buy-side or a non-investment banking career on Wall Street.

The immersion is comprised of a Practicum and coordinated course work in Investment and Portfolio Management and Valuation Principles. Students also have elective options which allow them to tailor the immersion to best serve their own unique interests.

The Practicum has five main components:

Participants in the immersion take part in two programs conducted in New York City

In aggregate, the CMAM immersion seeks to expose students to a range of practical information and to prepare them to succeed in their summer internships and subsequent search for a full-time position in the financial markets.
