Summer Internships
Johnson School MBA students have earned an enviable reputation for being able deliver immediate value in summer internships. As a result, they are often given substantive projects with meaningful challenges. Building on a solid foundation in fundamental business disciplines, three features of the Johnson School experience contribute to our students' exceptional preparation:
- Our Citi-sponsored Integrative Case Competition [link to video on homepage] provides a capstone experience at the end of the first semester, challenging students to use the knowledge learned in the core curriculum, apply analytical and strategic thinking skills, and present the case to a panel of judges. Learn about the most recent competition.
- Our Immersions, intense clusters of specialized coursework and performance learning experiences, occurs in the second semester—before the internships.
- With our small size and highly collaborative culture, we foster results-focused teamwork that enables our students and graduates to add immediate value in the workplace.
As a result, recruiters seek out Johnson School MBA students for internships, just as they recruit them for rewarding jobs.
