Karen Rupert Keating, AB '76
Karen Rupert KeatingKaren Rupert Keating is a Managing Director in the Investment Banking Division of JPMorgan Chase in New York City. She is responsible for overseeing 3 primary functions within the IB's Risk Management Group: due diligence for debt and equity securities underwritings; collateral risk management, and the "onboarding" of new clients for our trading businesses. She is an active recruiter for JPMorgan, holds leadership positions in several internal women's networking organizations and is involved in multiple ways with her alma mater, Cornell University. She is a second-term Trustee of Cornell, serves on the Finance, Student Life, and Development Steering Committees of the Board and Chairs the Alumni Affairs Steering Committee. She is a member of the Johnson Graduate School of Management Dean's Advisory Council, is Co-Captain of the JPMorgan investment banking team and the creator of the Women's Power Lunch Series, co-sponsored by JPMorgan and the JGSM Office of Women and Minorities. She has been a member of The President's Council of Cornell Women since 1992 and serves on its Steering Committee. Finally, she is a workplace mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City and is a Toigo Fellow mentor.
Karen is married to Tom Keating; they are the proud parents of David (20) and Anne (18) and reside in New York City.
