Mentoring

The Parker Center for Investment Research coordinates a formal mentoring program between Johnson School alumni and student managers of the Cayuga MBA Fund, the school's student-managed hedge fund. Eleven Johnson School alumni currently serve as investment advisors to the fund's student portfolio managers.

Students are assigned an alumni mentor, whose expertise matches the fund sector the student manages. Students are required to contact their alumni advisor at least once each semester, and these interactions form part of their grade, as portfolio managers.
