Maximizing opportunities with students & alumni

Johnson School students hit the road for the Student Treks in January and, as in years past, we partnered with alumni and faculty as well as students in order to connect our constituents and offer value-added programming to our regional alumni clubs.

We crisscrossed the globe from Boston to Hong Kong in January with a total of twelve alumni events ranging from student/alumni receptions (to go hand-in-hand with the Student Treks) and an expanded series of our annual Predictions Dinners.

January's annual Predictions Dinners are quintessential Johnson School events that often forge new relationships between alumni, students, faculty, and staff. The evenings begin with a cocktail networking reception and are followed by a formal dinner and guest speaker. Announcing prediction questions for the upcoming year, as well as the award winner for the previous year's most accurate prediction, forms the highlight of these dinners. This year, five regions -- Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Finger Lakes, and Boston -- participated in the Predictions Dinners, which attracted over 370 alumni, students, faculty, and friends.

Special thanks to our Predictions Dinner guest speakers Greg Dollarhyde '80, MBA '81; Daniel Kammen '84; Irene Rosenfeld '75, MS '77, PhD '80; Randy Papadellis, MBA '81; and Dean Joseph Thomas.

Furthermore, I'd like to extend a sincere thank you to our many alumni volunteers who contributed in making the alumni and student events such a great success throughout the month of January.

Sincerely,

Karrie
