Leadership Skills Program
|
Recognizing that business leaders must draw upon a range of skills that do not fit neatly into one functional area, the Johnson School created its unique Leadership Skills program (LSP) in 1994. Most of these "leadership skills" courses involve about 3-4 contact hours. These experiential learning mini-courses have a workshop format and cover topics such as leadership and team building, project planning, the art of persuasion, cross-cultural communications, the effective use of the Internet, and personal development. Workshop trainers include faculty from other Cornell schools and units, as well as executive practitioners from such corporations as Lehman Brothers, Banfi Vintners, and Procter & Gamble.
