Semester in Manufacturing

Corporate Partners can interact closely with the Johnson School through the intensive semester in manufacturing.

A fully integrated joint venture between the Johnson School and Cornell's School of Industrial and Labor Relations, the course involves more than a dozen instructors from Cornell and industry. The education offered by this team provides students with the tools they need to succeed in a manufacturing environment upon graduation.

The success of this learning approach is dependent upon the commitment of the participating Cornell schools and the participation of our industrial partners who provide financial support for the program, host plant visits, and share their real-world experiences with students. Past and current participants include:

  • Air Products
  • Accenture
  • Borg Warner
  • Corning
  • Eastman Kodak
  • Eaton Corp.
  • Emerson Electric
  • General Electric
  • General Motors
  • Lucent Technologies
  • Procter & Gamble
