Connecting with Students
Walk Down Route 128
|
In March, Johnson School students interested in high-tech careers travel to Boston to interact with a variety of technology companies. Organized by the Johnson School's High Tech Club, who are assisted by faculty and staff, the students make a series of site visits to talk with company executives. Activities typically include site and plant tours, interactive case discussions, talks about current issues in technology, and informal recruiting sessions. Both corporate executives and students benefit from this innovative program. Students gain valuable exposure to some of the leading high-tech companies in the world, and network with influential professionals in their chosen career field. In return, participating companies are introduced to top business school students interested in the high-tech industry, often gaining fresh insights to issues that the companies may be facing. This exposure provides an invaluable chance for companies to recruit top candidates from the Johnson School at Cornell University.
