Exchange Program in France

ESSEC is a private institution of professional education situated just outside Paris. Johnson School students may participate in a one-semester exchange either in the fall (September until mid December) or the spring (January until April) semester. ESSEC specializes in providing a rigorous yet flexible education program in international management. This includes courses in Luxury Brand Management, Hospitality Management, Entrepreneurship, Agri-Food Industry, etc. Courses are taught in French and in English. An intensive French course is offered to international students during 4 weeks in September. Students visiting in the spring can take a French language course throughout the semester. Please note that it is not required to speak French to come to ESSEC as a student can take all courses in English; however, a background in French is highly encouraged. HEC MBA, Paris, France

Johnson School students may participate in a one-semester exchange either during the fall (September until December) or spring (mid April until mid July). Students attending the fall period can choose electives or apply to one of four "track" concentrations in entrepreneurship, finance, marketing or strategy. Ninety percent of the courses are offered in English, the primary language in the MBA program. No French is required to attend the program. However, students will gain more from the exchange experience with at lest an intermediate level of French before joining the program. Please note that all dates are subject to change.
