Exchange Program in South Africa
University of Cape Town Graduate Business School, Cape Town, South Africa
As one of South Africa's leading universities, a degree from the University of Cape Town is internationally recognized. The UCT MBA is differentiated by having courses that underpin the programme with a focus on the role of business in society, personal leadership, being a team player, managing diversity and managing change. Johnson School students may participate in a one-semester exchange in the spring only (February until late April) which is term 1 of the UCT program. Term 1 is the core course period and exchange students are expected to take electives offered during this term (typically very limited) and core courses that are not comparable to what you have already completed in your coursework. Johnson School students must have at least a 2.0 credit independent study from a Johnson School faculty member in addition to four courses taken at UCT for this exchange. Please note that all dates are subject to change.
University of Stellenbosch Business School, South Africa
The relationship with Stellenbosch was started with the Center for Sustainable Global Enterprise by creating a sister BoP lab linking the research and global initiatives of the SGE Center and the university. Our strong ties continue with a one-semester of exchange now being offered to Johnson School students for only the spring semester and (Stellenbosch summer session) in mid January until mid June. Please note that all dates are subject to change. A selection of elective courses is offered for incoming exchange students (please see website for more details). All courses are taught in English.
