Exchange Program in Spain

Johnson School students may participate in a one-semester exchange during the fall only (September until December) which is the elective period for IE. Optional Spanish Intensive language courses are available but may conflict with other courses. Courses are taught in English and Spanish. An exchange term at IE is much more than an academic experience. It is an opportunity for personal enrichment within a highly diverse community. Please note that all dates are subject to change.
ESADE Business School, Barcelona, Spain
The ESADE MBA takes a globalist approach. It is offered in English and Spanish with similar offerings in both languages. Participants can choose from any of the 2nd year level coursework in English and Spanish. Additionally, participants who choose to take Doing Business in Spanish will partake in a highly-participative language course focused on business language and presentation skills taught entirely in Spanish. Minimum two years of professional work experience. There is no established minimum of Spanish required. Johnson School students may participate in a one-semester exchange during the fall (mid/end September until December) or spring (early January until late March/early April) semester. ESADE courses are highly participative. Some classes are case-study based, others on quantitative models, etc. The overall philosophy is cooperative and highly team-work oriented. IESE Business School - University of Navarra, Barcelona, Spain
IESE is a full-time, competitive bilingual MBA program with thirty to forty electives offered each term. Johnson School students may participate in either the fall (mid September until mid December) or spring (January until April) semester. Language of instruction is in English and Spanish. There is a special Business Spanish language-learning elective for exchange visitors. The teaching methodology is mostly case method for which constant class attendance is obligatory. IESE's MBA Career Services are open to all exchange visitors from the Johnson School. Please note that all dates are subject to change.
