Consulting, General Management, Marketing, and Operations:
NBA502 Managerial Cost Accounting is essential. NBA506 Financial Statement Analysis and NBA503 Strategic Cost Management are strongly recommended. NBA 500 Intermediate Accounting is recommended for students with more interest in using external reports.
Investment Bankers/Analysts/Asset Managers:
NBA500 Intermediate Accounting, NBA506 Financial Statement Analysis, NBA511 Modeling,, NBA509 Advanced Financial Statement Analysis and NBA 501 Income Taxes are essential courses for these students. NBA 508 Special Topics in Corporate Financial Reporting is strongly recommended.
Managerial Finance:
These students need coursework from both the internal and external reporting sequences. NBA502 Managerial Cost Accounting, NBA500 Intermediate Accounting, NBA506 Financial Statement Analysis,, NBA511 Modeling and NBA 501 Income Taxes are essential. NBA509 Advanced Financial Statement Analysis, NBA 508 Special Topics in Corporate Financial Reporting, and NBA503 Strategic Cost Management are strongly recommended depending on focus.
